We are a group of art world professionals —gallerists, curators, and artists— with more than forty years of experience in the international art market. Over those four decades, we have lived the art business from the inside, in all its facets: we have represented artists, mounted exhibitions, built relationships with collectors, and come to know firsthand both the strengths and the limitations of the ecosystem in which we work.
That experience taught us something we decided to change.
For decades, galleries and artists have depended on a handful of companies that concentrate access to the market and charge considerable sums for services that, in many cases, have not evolved at the pace of technology or the real needs of those who generate the true value of art. The result has been a market where galleries and artists work with less independence than they deserve, with outdated tools and costs that are not always justified.
Manhattan Chelsea Art Partners was born to change that reality.
We decided to create technological products and services designed to give the art world back what belongs to it: more independence, more technology, greater agility in business, and real control over one's own identity and work. We believe galleries should be owners of their presence, not tenants of a platform. We believe artists deserve to be discovered for their talent, not left waiting for doors that rarely open. And we believe that technology, properly applied, can make everyone's work simpler, fairer, and more profitable.
From that conviction, we develop our products. Each one responds to a concrete problem we know because we have lived it, and each one is designed so that galleries, artists, and art professionals can work with greater freedom, better tools, and lower costs.
We do not aim to be just another company within the art market. We aim to transform the way that market works, putting technology at the service of those who make it possible.
We are art professionals building, for art professionals, the tools we always wished we had.
